About
The age of Virtual Reality is here. But is it just games and visualization? In the early VR sci-fi, it was everywhere, used to communicate and for all kinds of work. In recent movies like Minority Report, Iron Man, or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it's the only UI. ProVR is asking the question: But how will it change the way you work? We gained much by transitioning our work into the digital. However, we made one sacrifice for that; we started interacting with all our work through the limited bezel of a monitor. Where before you could have notes, references, and tools around what you were directly working on, now you mostly interact with all those through the same rectangle, meaning you can't look at them at the same time. Some work around that by still keeping physical references around their computer; others use two, three, or even four monitors; others, very large monitors. These are all good solutions, but can we do better? What if all the space around you is active and interactive?
