X-Wind is a completely new wind energy technology which is three times more efficient and cost-effective than conventional wind turbines. This system combines automatically steered kites with the generator system of trains. The higher you go, the more energy you get! NTS followed this principle and developed a patented system that uses airborne energy. In this altitudes the wind is more stable and stronger. Therfore the technology has a 3 times higher efficiency and electricity production costs are comparable with fossil fuels (3 cents/MWh). This technology allows to harness the energy of wind at an altitude of up to 500m/1.500 feet.
